New Clients

What to Expect

As a new client of our practice, you can expect our full attention to your pets’ needs at your first visit and every visit. Our service will be provided with courtesy and respect. We believe strongly in open communication and that our role as your pet’s health care provider should be that of a trusted advisor. Please let us know your philosophy when it comes to pet care and the specific goals you have for your pet. We welcome questions that you may have about our hospital and invite those at any time. Please feel free to drop by unannounced for a tour of our facility even before you ever have a scheduled appointment.

We realize that there are many different veterinary care providers in our area and there is quite a variation in the level of care and service clients receive. We have built our team and facility with the goal of helping you provide the best preventative care for a reasonable price that is easy to budget for. Our medical care is centered on providing high quality care with compassion and maximum comfort for your pet and genuine respect and courtesy to you as the client.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly and we will usher you into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Water, cold drinks, and coffee are available in our reception area and you may browse our retail area while you wait. Our goal is to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times where the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible and will strive to keep you informed should there be a delay with your appointment.

You will normally see a veterinary technician first who will take a history, obtain vitals, and gather some data for the doctor. The veterinarian will see you next, examine your pet, answer your questions and plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary. You will normally see the technician again to go over any medications or recommendations, and she will provide you with further educational information and answer routine wellness care questions for you. Our client care specialists will then handle the check-out and schedule any needed follow up.

We believe that you should have all of your concerns addressed want you to be fully satisfied with the care you receive at our hospital. Please let us know at any time if there is anything we can do to better take care of you or your pet!
