Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Greg was born and raised in Southern California. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University in 1992 he relocated to Stillwater, Oklahoma, to attend Oklahoma State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his DVM degree with Honors in 1996. During his last year of veterinary school he completed an internship at Denver’s Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital, a nonprofit specialty veterinary hospital that treats serious illnesses in pets of families with limited incomes, who would otherwise not be able to allow their pet to be treated. During this internship Dr. Greg had the opportunity to work closely with some of the best veterinary specialists in the profession.
After graduation Dr. Greg joined a small animal and exotics practice in the beautiful coastal Redwoods area of Northern California. He practiced there for four years until relocating to North Georgia in 2000. He joined a multi-doctor small animal practice in Cumming for two years until Summer of 2002, when he and his wife Simone opened Riverstone Animal Hospital.
Dr. Greg’s special interests include internal medicine, surgery, endoscopy, and rabbit and ferret medicine. Prior to veterinary school he raised Netherland Dwarf Rabbits and purebred Beagles. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association, and the veterinary honor society Phi Zeta.
In his spare time he enjoys playing the guitar, woodworking, reading, and fishing.
